Miami-Dade County
Miami-Dade is in the High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ), the strictest part of the Florida Building Code. Roofing products need HVHZ product approval, such as a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA), and the permit comes from your city or, in unincorporated areas, from the county. Our office is in Doral, and we work across the whole county, not only the cities listed here.
Broward County
Broward is also in the HVHZ, so the same product-approval rules apply to every roof. Permits are issued by each city's building department, or by the county in unincorporated areas. We install tile, shingle, metal, metal tile and flat roofs across the county.
Palm Beach County
Palm Beach County is outside the HVHZ but still has some of the highest design wind speeds in the state, so each roof is built to the Florida Building Code's wind requirements for its exact location. Many communities here also have HOA or architectural review rules for roof color and material.
